Our goal is 100% global coverage. The Head of Data Acquisition is responsible for the strategy and execution of expanding our pipeline into new markets—from the Middle East (Saudi Tadawul) to Asia (Shenzhen/Shanghai) and beyond.

The Role
You will architect the ingestion layer that monitors thousands of regulatory sources simultaneously. This is an engineering-heavy role that requires strategic planning around data governance and reliability.

Key Responsibilities

• Pipeline Expansion: Reverse-engineer complex government portals to build robust, low-latency scrapers.
• Resilience Engineering: Build self-healing systems that adapt to changes in source site structures (DOM changes, anti-bot measures).
• Coverage Strategy: Prioritize market expansion based on client demand and data availability.

Who You Are

• Expert Scraper: You understand the nuance of headers, proxies, headless browsers, and rate limits better than anyone.
• System Thinker: You build frameworks, not just scripts. You automate the maintenance of the scrapers you build.
• Python Native: Deep expertise in Python, Scrapy, Selenium/Playwright, and queue-based architectures.
